Tom Foolery

Tom. Cockney rhyming slang for jewellery (Tom foolery). Kettle. Slang for watch (kettle and hob…fob!). Two jewellery experts from Hatton Garden. One brilliant idea. To provide the City’s high flyers with a corporate ‘pick up and drop off’ jewellery and watch repair service.

With over 30 years experience in the jewellery and watch business, their pedigrees were impressive. But to get their foot in the door of City institutions Paul and Gary needed a corporate presence to match.


First, we needed to understand the skill that lay behind the idea. So we had a butcher’s at their workshops and saw some of the most expert hands in Hatton Garden working with some truly jaw dropping jewellery and watches. With this insight under our belts, we put together a suite of imagery based on old-fashioned craftsmanship to help shape the brand, alongside a clean, refined graphic look and sharp copy.
